To PUBLISH workflows, it is essential to establish both a workflow trigger and a workflow action. Without both components, the workflow can only be saved but not published.
The Update Contact Field workflow action provides users with the capability to modify specific fields within a contact's record. This functionality streamlines the management of contact information, ensuring the database remains current and accurate. This, in turn, contributes to improved communication and fosters stronger relationships with contacts.
Add Fields
To initiate the process, click on the designated + icon to add a new workflow action and select Update Contact Field. Users can then opt to update the field data or clear existing field data. Proceed by clicking on +Add Field.
When choosing to update field data, users have the option to select either standard or custom field choices and input the data to be updated in the designated field. In the case of selecting to clear field data, only custom fields can be cleared.
