Appointment Status (Triggers)

The Activation of Appointment Status Trigger is designed to occur during the scheduling of an appointment or when there is a change in the status of an existing appointment. This will initiate your workflow based on the appointment status filter chosen by the user. This functionality empowers businesses to formulate more specialized workflows, offering varying levels of automation and customization based on the selected filters.

All Filters
Event Type
The Event Type filter enables you to designate the type of event that triggers the workflow—Normal, Recurring, or a combination of both. This serves as the initial trigger filter and is set as the default option.

Appointment Status Is
Users can leverage the platform's Filters feature to access various filter options and tailor their workflows. Among these filters is the 'Appointment Status Is,' allowing users to choose specific triggers based on the status of an appointment. Users have the option to trigger the workflow when:
There's a new appointment,
The appointment is confirmed,
The appointment is cancelled,
The client/prospects show up for the appointment,
The client/prospects don't show up for the appointment (No-Show), or
The appointment is deemed invalid.

Has Tag

The 'Has Tag' filter activates the workflow when the appointment status changes for a contact with a specific tag. Upon selecting this filter, a dropdown menu appears, allowing users to choose the desired tag.
In Calendar
The 'In Calendar' filter triggers the workflow when there is a change in the appointment status within a specific calendar. After selecting this filter, another dropdown menu appears, enabling users to choose the calendar they want to apply.
For example, if Jim John's calendar is selected in the 'In Calendar' filter, and a customer confirms an appointment on this calendar, the workflow will activate.

In Calendar Group
The 'In Calendar Group' filter allows the workflow to be triggered when there is a change in the appointment status within a specific calendar group. Once this filter is selected, a dropdown menu appears for users to choose the Calendar Group.

Only For Grouped Calendars
The 'Only For Grouped Calendars' filter lets users decide whether the workflow should only be triggered for group calendars. After selecting this filter, a dropdown menu appears with options for Yes or No.

Modified By
To trigger the workflow upon modification, users can employ the 'Modified By' filter. Upon selection, users can choose the modification type that should activate the workflow—API, Customer, or User.
User Is
The 'User Is' filter initiates a workflow when the appointment status changes for an appointment linked to a specific team member. Upon selecting this trigger, a dropdown menu appears, allowing users to choose the team member.
