Just click on the "Upload Contacts" button to effortlessly import anything from a single contact to an entire group – all without any hassle. In an instant, your spreadsheet will be loaded up, bringing you one step closer to maximum efficiency.
Importing Contacts:
Before importing data into your CRM, you must create a spreadsheet, organized with clearly defined columns matching those of your CRM.
Column Values Format:
Include columns such as name, email, and phone for proper data entry. Ensure all fields match during the import process to avoid errors.
Contact Owner:
To assign an owner during import, include the 'User' name in acceptable formats: FirstName LastName or LastName FirstName.
Phone Number:
Format phone numbers in E.164 (e.g., +1 1234567890) or other accepted formats based on the chosen default Country.
Email Address:
The default unique identifier is "Email," but other fields can be chosen for de-duplication during Bulk CSV Upload.
Date Picker:
Acceptable formats include mm/dd/yyyy or yyyy/mm/dd; '/' can be replaced with '-' or '.'.
Tags:
Acceptable formats include Value 1, Value 2, Value 3 (e.g., Blue, Yellow, Green); separators like ', ' can be replaced with '; ' or ' . '.
Steps for Importing Contacts:
Upload: Ensure your file is a .csv, has one spreadsheet, is smaller than 50MB, and includes a header row. Choose 'Add New Records,' 'Update Contact Records,' or 'Both' based on your needs.
Map: Match columns from your CSV with contact fields; unmatched columns must be marked to proceed.
Details: Set the import name and choose advanced settings for adding or updating contact records.
Advance:
In Advanced Settings, choose to add new and update existing contact records, add new contact records only, or update existing contact records.
Find Existing Contacts Based on (Primary):
Choose to bypass existing contacts based on a primary phone number and decide whether to update empty values.
Tags:
Organize and sort contacts by adding existing tags or creating new ones. Categorize custom tags for efficient management.
Add to workflow:
Toggle on the option to add contacts to an existing workflow or campaign, facilitating easy communication.
This systematic approach, involving Upload, Map, and Details, ensures a seamless integration of new contacts into your existing database.
