Prompt Editing

Accessing Your Scripts

Log In to Your Account: Begin by logging into your Thoughtly account.
Navigate to the Thought Ways Tab: Once logged in, locate and click on the "Thought Ways" tab on the left side of your dashboard.
Select Your Script: You can choose any script from the list, but for the purpose of this guide, we will use "celery activation" as an example.

Editing Prompts Within Your Script

View Script Nodes: Inside your selected script, you'll be presented with various nodes that outline the flow of conversation. Each node represents a different prompt or action within the script.
Select a Node to Edit: Click on a node you wish to customize. Look for the settings icon on the selected node, which indicates where you can make edits.
Customize the Prompt: Upon clicking the settings icon, you'll see the instructions or prompts currently programmed for the bot. Here, you have the freedom to edit the text to better align with your desired conversation flow and tone.
Save Your Changes: After making the necessary edits, click the "X" at the top right corner of the editing window. Your changes will be saved automatically.

Conclusion

Editing the prompts within your Thought Ways is a simple yet powerful way to customize how your bot interacts with users, allowing for a more personalized and engaging conversation experience. Whether you're looking to refine the tone, adjust the flow, or update the content of your script, these steps will enable you to make your automated interactions more aligned with your brand and audience expectations. Remember, regular updates and refinements to your scripts can significantly improve the effectiveness of your automated communications.
