Activated by specific email events, such as opens or clicks, occurring system-wide or within a designated workflow, the Email Event trigger is designed to automatically trigger notifications whenever significant actions are taken by customers in response to emails. Leveraging this trigger allows businesses to enhance their email marketing strategy and elevate overall customer engagement.
To PUBLISH workflows, both a workflow trigger and a workflow action need to be established. Without both components, it is possible to save the workflow but not publish it.

Add Filters
Event
When configuring a trigger based on email events, the Event filter provides users with the flexibility to select the triggering event from a sent email.
It could be either the email Bounced, or The email was Clicked on, or It got Spammed (the contact complained/reported the mail), or The contact Opened the mail, or The contact is Unsubscribed (DND).
This filter allows the extraction of contacts from other workflows and places them in a designated workflow for more targeted information dissemination. Alternatively, it enables the removal of contacts from all workflows and marking them as DND (mostly for emails from contacts that were marked as spam, bounced, or unsubscribed) to preserve email scores.
In Workflow
The In Workflow filter empowers users to choose a specific workflow for event searching when configuring a trigger. Users can select the desired workflow from the dropdown menu or utilize the search bar for quick identification. This functionality enables businesses to streamline processes by focusing on specific workflows and automating actions based on events within those workflows.
