Efficiently Managing Conversations with Filters and Bulk Actions
Within the Conversations UI, we've incorporated valuable tools to streamline message handling and organization. These tools encompass Conversation Filters and Bulk Actions, and this article is dedicated to explaining their implementation.
To begin, you must enable Conversation Filters for your sub-account. Follow these steps to do so:
Step 1: Enabling Conversation Filters
Once Conversation Filters are activated, you can locate them conveniently on the left side of the Conversations UI.
Step 2: Employing Bulk Actions
With Conversation Filters in operation, you can now execute actions on multiple conversations concurrently. It's essential to note that these actions are applicable to a maximum of 100 conversations at a time.
Here's how to utilize Bulk Actions:
Select the conversations you wish to manage by marking the checkboxes beside them. Subsequently, you can choose from the following actions: Step 3: Filtering Conversations (Quick Filters)
Conversation Filters additionally grant you the ability to refine your view based on specific criteria. These filters expedite the process of locating the desired conversations. The available filters include:
By assignee (the individual responsible for the conversation). By the last message channel (the source of the last message). By last message type (the type of the last message). By last message direction (incoming or outgoing). By last outbound message type. By the last outbound message action (manual or automated, relevant for messages posted after May 9th, 2023). Step 4: Arranging Conversations
You can arrange your conversations to enhance navigation. Sorting can be accomplished in two ways:
Latest to oldest: Arranges conversations from the most recent to the oldest. Oldest to latest: Reverses the order, arranging conversations from the oldest to the newest. You can also combine sorting with the Quick Filters mentioned earlier to structure your conversations effectively. Step 5: Marking Conversations as Starred
To emphasize crucial conversations for swift identification, utilize the star feature. Here's how:
Click on the conversation to highlight it. Open the Action Menu and select the "Starred" icon. To remove a star from a conversation, simply click on the "Unstirred" icon. By making use of these Conversation Filters and Bulk Actions, you can elevate your message management capabilities, maintain organization, and handle conversations with increased efficiency. These tools are thoughtfully designed to facilitate smoother and more manageable communication tasks.
