Send Email

Workflow - External Communication Action: This action involves sending an email to the contact.
The "Send Email" workflow action allows you to dispatch an outbound email to a contact triggered by your workflow. Use this action for prompt follow-ups with clients after form or survey submissions, or automate emails based on specific events, reducing the need for daily manual interventions.
To begin, click on the + icon to add a workflow action, and choose "Send Email."
Email Action:
Users can input the sender's name in the "From Name" field or utilize custom values by clicking on the tag icon.

Edit Action:
From Name:
In the "From Name" field, enter the sender's name, or use custom values by clicking on the tag icon.

From Email:
Enter the sender's email in the "From Email" field, or use custom values by clicking on the tag icon.

Subject:
Type the email subject in this field.

Template:
Choose an email template from the dropdown menu or search by name using the search bar in "Template."

Message:
For those not using an email template, type the message in the text box. Customize the email with text edit options such as typography, alignment, bullet points, and adding images.

Custom Values:
Use custom values to input user or contact info and add trigger links to your email via the corresponding dropdowns in the message box.

Add Attachments:
To include attachments like files or images, click the green "Add attachment" button and select the desired file or image.

Test Emails:
Test the composed email by entering a demo email address. If satisfied with the demo mail, proceed to send it to your contacts.
Send Test Mail:
Enter a demo email address in the "Test Emails" field and click "Send Test Email." Once satisfied, you can send it to your contacts.

Email Delivery Statistics:
After your workflow is active, access email delivery statistics. This provides metrics on sent emails, including details on emails delivered, opened, clicked, replied, bounced, accepted, stored, and rejected by contacts. It also reveals the number of contacts that complained/reported the email.

Delivered:
Numbers and details of emails delivered to contacts under this workflow.
Opened:
Numbers and details of contacts that opened the mail under this workflow.
Clicked:
Number and details of contacts that clicked on the mail.
Replied:
Numbers and details of contacts that replied to the mail within this workflow.
Bounced:
Numbers and details of emails that got bounced.
Accepted:
Number of accepted emails.
Stored:
Number of stored emails.
Rejected:
Number of emails rejected by the contact.
Complained:
Number of contacts that complained/reported the email.
