About this doc

As a venture capitalist at Homebrew (follow me on Twitter and at my blog), my goal is to fund mission-driven founders who embrace big - big ideas, big impact and big risk. That means that every day I’m trying to stay in touch with friends, colleagues and entrepreneurs in my network. After years working in product management at Google and Twitter I’ve been fortunate to get to know tons of incredible people.

There are a lot of standalone applications out there for making it easier to stay in touch and follow up with your network, but I found that I reverted back to simple tools like spreadsheets and email reminders until I found Coda.

Being able to customize my “rolodex” system is my number one priority, and I was able to do this with Coda.

This doc starts with your contact list. Simply add the e-mail addresses to your contact list and the FullContact Pack will automatically pull in relevant information about that person like their profile picture, title, and more.

Next, you sync in your Google Calendar and Gmail messages so that the doc can see when you last met with or messaged one of your contacts.

Finally, view your touchpoints to see if you are falling behind on staying in touch with your contacts. This doc lets you automatically create Gmail drafts with messages to stay in touch with your contacts just by pushing a button.
