Standard back lit halo letters

Painted 0.125 metal face, painted mil finish 0.063 channel coil.
Standard depth is 3”.
White or clear polycarbonate diffused backer illuminated by internal LEDs.
LEDs are mounted to the polycarbonate face inside the letter.
Light reflects back out through the polycarbonate to create the halo effect.
Vinyl can be applied to the backer for different halo glow colours.
L-brackets are installed inside the returns to make the polycarbonate removable for servicing.
The preferred minimum stroke is 2”, but 1 ½” is possible.
Absolute minimum stroke width possible is 1 ¼”, but it is very hard to work with and takes twice as long to produce as a 2” stroke.
2” minimum stroke width allows the LEDs to cast off enough light within the channel itself. It also provides enough room to work with the welding tip during manufacturing.
Halo lit letters must be mounted on a flat wall or flat full-size backer for an even halo effect.
Halo lit letters mounted directly onto exterior walls with irregular surfaces and textures run the risk of casting inconsistent and uneven light. A building with stone work would not be a good candidate for halo lit letters, for example.
