Hello - we would like to change the field on our acquisition landing pages to first ask for just email, and then ask for the rest of the current fields on the form.

Why we want to do this?

We want to make the initial signup experience faster and less daunting, as well as collect email early on for remarketing purposes.

Requirements

Field for user to enter email address

Once email is submitted — the other fields on the page become visible, and user can fill them out.

Once they submit the complete form, we move them to the pre-filled application, as happens now.

IF user only completes email address (that is, bounces without completing the form) we send the email to Salesforce.

Perhaps this could be a 2-step form handler? Meaning we send to 2 different form handlers, first for just email, then for the full form if they submit.

I’m not sure this is possible. But perhaps the solution we developed for form handlers last year enables us to do things like this?

I think we should try to do this using either built-in Webflow capabilities, or custom code (so long as it’s not too complex)?
