How to disconnect your WhatsApp number and cancel BotSpace subscription?

Understand how to disable 2FA and disconnect your account at the end of your BotSpace subscription.

When migrating to another provider or downgrading your API account to WhatsApp Apps (Business App or Consumer App), it's crucial to disable 2FA and disconnect your account properly. Neglecting these steps can result in continued BotSpace subscription charges on your card or technical issues when migrating or downgrading.
This article will guide you through the process, ensuring a hassle-free experience.

Step 1 : Cancel your BotSpace subscription

Before proceeding, it's crucial to know that deleting the WhatsApp Business API account, or migrating to another provider doesn't automatically cancel your Botspace subscription. You need to follow the correct procedure to avoid unexpected charges. You can either visit the section from the dashboard to cancel your subscription or and ask them to cancel the subscription. This ensures that your subscription is properly terminated and prevents any further charges.

Step 2: Identify the reason to disconnect you number

The reason to disconnect your number might be either of the three
I want to downgrade back to WhatsApp Apps (Business App or Consumer App)
I want to migrate to another vendor
I want to delete the number entirely from your Meta Business Manager

1. I want to downgrade back to WhatsApp Apps (Business App or Consumer App)

If you are using the WhatsApp API and you want to go back to regular WhatsApp, you can downgrade the number under your Facebook business manager. Please follow this guide to downgrade
