Schoolwide Dyknow Plan

act

To administer the Mock ACT on October 14, teachers will need to:

Turn on Dyknow monitoring
Activate a Schoolwide Blocking Plan
Send the assessment link to their students via Dyknow message

Turn on Dyknow monitoring:

Go to Dyknow and turn on monitoring for your Homeroom class:

Activate the schoolwide blocking plan for this assessment:

Click Modify Blocking in the top-right corner:

Click the drop-down selector next to Plan and click Ballantyne Ridge High School Blocking Plan:

Click Enforce in the top-right corner:

This is an Allow-Only blocking plan - everything will be blocked except the sites listed on the plan.
Any other tabs a student had open will be blocked as long as the plan is active. Students won’t lose those tabs; when blocking is turned off, they will be accessible again.


Send the assessment link to students via Dyknow message:

Click this button to copy the link to the test:
Copy Assessment Link
From the class dashboard, click any student, and click the blue expanding arrows:

Click Send a Message:

Check Select All Students to select the entire class:

Click the dropdown selector next to Text, and click Custom Message:

Type CTRL + V to paste the assessment link into the message box, and verify that Device Lock is NO:

Click Send in the top-right corner:

This will send all students the link and will force-open it in a new tab

Don’t worry about students who are sent to your homeroom - Weber will send them the test once the testing session has started

At the end of class, be sure to end monitoring and, when prompted, remove the blocking plan.
