Directions

Go to and log in
Create or open a PowerPoint slideshow (use the web app, not the desktop app). Slideshow can be the “real” slideshow that you use to lead your lesson, or just a blank slide.
Go to Slideshow > Present Live (dropdown arrow) > Anyone
Go to Slideshow > Present Live
Click the Copy icon to copy the live meeting link
Paste the link on your Canvas page, a live document the students can access, or share the link via Dyknow.
Resume session and click Show Slides
Instruct students to choose their language by clicking the language icon in the bottom corner

Notes

Teachers should watch the tutorial video prior to training
Teachers should maintain a close distance to their computer, so they are in range of their microphone
Machine translation is more effective when translating active voice, not passive voice.
