ParentSquare is the district-provided resource for school-to-home communication. Of course, email and phone calls remain valid and useful methods of communication. ParentSquare is a quick messaging tool that’s designed to supplement email and phone calls.

Student rosters and parent contact information sync from PowerSchool. With it, teachers can:

Send direct messages to parents or students

Send group messages parents and/or students

Create posts that are sent to whole classes

Make groups for class discussions, clubs, teams, etc.

Teachers may not

Use messaging apps such as Remind, TalkingPoints, Band, GroupMe, etc. with students, classes, groups, or families

Communicate with students through social media apps

Give their personal phone number to parents or students

You cannot access ParentSquare until you have had your in-person onboarding meeting with Ms. Ritch. Once that has happened, Mr. Weber will meet with you in-person for more in-depth ParentSquare training

Create and Send (or Schedule) a class post in ParentSquare
