All classrooms at Ballantyne Ridge are equipped with Promethean Nickle display systems. Teachers can use these systems in three ways:

Log in to the connected Chromebox. PREFERRED

Chromebox is located behind the board in the upper-left hand corner

Using Chromebox allows teacher’s laptop to be available for use

BY FAR the most stable connection for audio/video content

Use the ScreenShare app to pair a CMS device to the board. FAIR

Quick, easy, effective

Occupies teacher laptop

Unstable audio/video

Physically connect device via HDMI cable. NOT RECOMMENDED

HDMI port on board rapidly breaks down from use
