This SOP will outline:
Nuances of Email/SMS templates If you’re using a template, make sure the email/SMS has formatted correctly with the template tags being used.
For example - If you’re using an email/SMS template that is taking information from one of the Lead Custom Fields within Close, make sure that specific field has some data inside!! Otherwise, your email/SMS will be blank where that template tag was placed (watch video below for context)
Method
Navigate to the Settings.
Click the Templates page under the Communication section.
Click the + New Template button on the top right of the page to create a new template.
To create an Email template, make sure you are in the Email page To create an SMS template, make sure you are in the SMS page
Create the template as desired. Give the template a name that will help you easily identify the contents of the template Use template tags to automate the personalisation of the email/SMS you are sending! Attach any files to the template you wish to send to the prospects/clients.
Once you are done and happy with your template, click Save.
