Coda is a collaborative, all-in-one platform that blends the best of docs, spreadsheets, and applications. It offers app-like features to integrate other tools (via Packs), create automations, use AI, and more for a cohesive user experience.

Bringing data to Coda.

Integrations (Packs)

  • A Pack is an extension that adds new powers to your doc. Packs work by supplementing the core building blocks of Coda, so you can customize how your doc looks, works, and integrates. We have Packs for many of the tools your team already uses—from Slack, Snowflake, Jira, and Salesforce, to Google Calendar and Gmail. You can choose from Packs created by Coda or Packs created by makers just like you.

Full-page embeds

  • Product teams simplify review cycles by embedding briefs, mocks, and prototypes from Miro and Figma into their documents, along with various other third-party content. This eliminates the need to open another tab, as everything can be viewed and interacted with directly within the document.

Sync pages

  • Managers and leaders can sync relevant pages from their team's hubs or 1:1 docs to create a central hub of key information. With the sync pages feature, you can insert pages or entire docs from one Coda doc into another and edit content from either end. This helps to break down knowledge silos by allowing you to share important content across docs without switching tabs.

Customizing for your audience.

Create custom table views

  • Views enable you to display data in different formats, such as cards or a calendar, and also let you filter the data to focus on specific parts of the dataset without removing the rest.

Creating user-specific views

  • Learn how the User( ) formula lets you dynamically customize views for every team member and stakeholder.

Doc locking

  • For contributors needing to make specific adjustments, a cleaner experience is provided. If you want more control over changes, locking can prevent accidental changes.

Making it beautiful and useful.

Buttons

  • Buttons help provide a seamless user experience and guide users through the desired steps in your document. They enable additional interaction in Coda documents, working in tables and the canvas. With countless applications, buttons can complement other building blocks in Coda.

Canvas formulas

  • Our customers prefer Canvas formulas over Pivot tables to highlight key information. These formulas, embedded in the canvas, can stand alone or be linked to data anywhere in the document to summarize important metrics.

Automating your work.

Coda AI

  • Coda AI is valued by teams for generating content, giving feedback, summarizing documents, finding action items, and answer questions. You can give instructions, called prompts, and reference other content in your doc. This means it understands your work and can use context from across your doc as background information, and you can update your prompt or refresh the generated output as much as you like.

Automations

  • Customers love using automations in Coda to send custom updates from project/task trackers or OKRs docs. Automations streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and help save time, increasing productivity.
