Whether you’re moving in- or out-of-state, there are a few steps that need to be completed once your move is finalized.
Steps:
Please let your manager know about your move and any changes to your daily schedule.
Notify the People Team about your move and the effective date so we can make the necessary changes in our Roster pack. Note: No need to reach out if you are moving within the same city.
Sign into your account at
Any address changes that are updated in the employee Worklife Portal account will feed over to your healthcare carriers on a weekly file feed to update. Depending on the timing of when you update their address in the system, it can take about a week to reflect on the carrier’s end.
Update your address in the mailing, residence and W-2 tabs (image 1)
Update your Withholdings to new state (image 2). This is a very important step if you are moving to a different State.
You may qualify for a benefits Qualified Life Event if you undergo a move that brings you out of the medical network’s service area. This opens up a 30 day window for you to re-evaluate your benefits elections. See more info on QLE,

For any Codans on a visa, you are required to notify the USCIS within 10 days of your move. Simply complete online.
When the worksite of an H-1B, E-3, or H-1B1 worker changes to a new location, an H-1B Amendment petition may be needed, depending on the location of the new worksite. Please notify the People Team for assistance.
