Maximum size for an attachment

Per this

, the maximum size for a single attachment is 5GB.

However, if you are uploading attachments via a form, there is a lower file size limit.

Total attachment size for a field

In a grid view, you can set the summary bar of an attachment field to Total Attachment Size.

Total attachment space for a base

Each base has a limited amount of space for attachments, depending on your Airtable subscription level.

You can see how much attachment space a base is using by looking at the workspace settings page. This is the place where you can set the billing information for your workspace, which only workspace owners have access to.

Note that this total is not updated in real time, so if you add or delete several attachments, it will not be reflected in the workspace settings immediately. Attachments can also continue to take up space in the workspace after they have been deleted, depending on how long history is retained. This is so that the attachment can be restored if you restore a base from an old snapshot.
