Introduction to the Snowflake Pack

Snowflake is a powerful data warehouse that many organizations choose to store their most important business data. Using Coda’s Snowflake Pack you can bring that data directly into your Coda docs, allowing you to create data-driven writeups, create custom dashboards, and build operational tools off of canonical data.
Prerequisites
  • Your workspace is on Coda’s Enterprise plan.
  • Your organization uses Snowflake, you have access, and you can write SQL queries.
  • You’re administrators have enabled the Snowflake Pack.

Step 1: Install the Pack

Type /snowflake in your doc to install the Pack. Alternatively click Insert > Packs and search for “Snowflake”.

Step 2: Connect your account

In the Pack’s side panel, expand the Query table. You’ll be prompted to connect your Snowflake account. Login with your Snowflake credentials, or select an existing account if you’ve already done so in another doc.

Step 3: Create the query table

  1. Drag the Query table into your doc. Once it loads, edit the Query parameter in the side panel and enter your SQL query.
  2. Select a set of Unique Columns in the resulting table, who’s combined value will be unique for each row in the result set.
  3. Click the Sync now button to run the query and sync the results.
