Pizza

“Thinking about where to eat the most delicious Pizza in Rome? I’ve got you covered with some of our personal favourites below.”
Did you know* The local Roman way to eat pizza is al taglio (by the slice), for that quick takeaway and these can be found at the multiple Forno’s in the city. Forno is an Italian word meaning "oven" and it’s a place between a bakery and a pizzeria.

Forno Campo dei Fiori

📜 Some history: This is the temple of Pizza, here you can get yourself one of the city’s best pizzas. Forno Campo dei Fiori opened in 1880 and it’s the oldest bakery in Rome. Just show them how much you’d like and then pay by weight.
🧉 What to try: Be sure to try their popular pizza bianca, without the tomato base, it can become a mystical experience. Apart from pizza, Forno bakes fresh breads, biscuits and lots more.

Antico Forno La Renella

📜 Some history: With an oven dating back to 1860, La Renella is one of Trastevere’s most historic spots. Always bustling with a lively atmosphere, this family-run bakery is the oldest forno in Trastevere and even the pope has eaten pizza here!
🧉 What to try: Zucchini flower, mozzarella and anchovies pizza are my personal favourites. They also have nice baked breads and homemade pastries.
