Pasta

“Thinking about where to eat the most delicious Pasta in Rome? I’ve got you covered with some of our personal favourites below.”
“Fun fact * Spaghetti & meatballs is NOT an Italian dish. Arguably one of the most famous “Italian” dishes in the world, I’m sure most of you reading will have had spaghetti and meatballs at least once in your life. Unfortunately, it is not an authentic Italian dish. In fact, you’ll likely not find very many pasta dishes topped with meat, this is usually reserved for dishes cooked “al forno”. While we’re on the subject of meat and pasta, chicken is something you’ll never see atop pasta in Italy, it’s not a very popular meat in general.”

Carbonara at Il Barroccio

📜 Some history: For your dinner, I suggest to take a stroll around the pantheon district, here you will find some little restaurants like the Il Barroccio where you can eat classic roman dishes like carbonara pasta. I personally have been few times and I have always loved their food, their carbonara pasta is simply magnificent.

Cacio e Pepe at Felice A Testaccio

📜 Some history: It is a family that welcomes you, a comfortable space for you to relax along with professional staff to rely on. Felice’s recipe originate from the land and tradition, handed down thanks to his dedication. Selected ingredients and raw materials are the protagonists offered on their menu everyday. You can enhance the flavours by accompanying them with an extensive wine list chosen from the best wineries throughout the Italian territory. I suggest to try the tonnarelli cacio e pepe and the coratella con i carciofi (artichoke).
