Some of the merchants have been working there for decades, so the market is their house. They sing, they yell at each other, they express the mood of the day, they protest against corrupt politicians, they make us feel alive in the most amazing city in the world.

There are many stands and restaurants, offering fresh seasonal food, artisanal street food and gourmet goodies. It is also a popular place for locals like me, to meet up and enjoy meals at the various eateries.
🧉 What to try: It is a lovely local market where you can find local ingredients, products and artisans. Here you can choose what you want to eat among different food stands. You can find dishes with meat, fish, trippa alla romana sandwich and even pizza!
