Project: Mock Interview

30 minutes to complete
Being prepared when you walk into an interview can help you make a lasting impression on a recruiter or hiring manager.
During this project, you and your Career Coach will embark on a mission to conduct a mock interview and provide real-time feedback to improve your interviewing ability. Your Career Coach will ask you a series of questions you might experience during a typical interview.
As you conduct the mock interview, pay close attention to the following:
Your body language and posture
Your tone of voice and presentation
These are incredibly important things to take note of as you interview. Be sure to remain confident in your abilities. Answer the questions concisely, while remaining engaging. If there is a question you don’t know the answer to, be transparent.
Review the previous lessons on interviewing techniques before conducting this mock interview to properly prepare.

Deliverable #1:

Mock Interview

Schedule a session with your Career Coach. For 20 minutes, your Career Coach will interview you by asking questions you might experience during a typical interview. For the final 10 minutes, you will both review your answers, and your Career Coach will provide feedback.
