Your resume should list your educational background, previous work experience, and the skills you offer. Although the layout of resumes has to be driven by the content, you have the skills as a designer to make yours stand out from the crowd!
It's important to get your content lined up before starting to make design decisions. Put together the information you want to include as plain text before you start sketching or laying things out on the computer.
Remember to include the following information as a minimum:
Name and contact information
Previous work experience
Education and qualifications (including UX Academy)
Notable skills relevant to design work
Relevant awards or certifications
So it’s time to apply the tips from the previous lesson to create your own knockout resume. One final tip, though: avoid boring templates!
