Follow-up queries are a way to enhance the conversational flow by anticipating what users might ask after receiving a response.
What Are Follow-Up Queries?
Follow-up queries represent potential questions, or input users may enter after viewing a response. For instance, if a user receives a response about a product, the follow-up queries can be: "What is the price?" or "Is it available in other colors?"
Adding a Follow-Up Query
To add follow-up queries to a response:
Locate the response engagement block next to the response you're working on. Click on the Add Follow-Up button. An input field for the follow-up query will appear. Fill in the text for the query that users might enter after seeing the response. You can add multiple variants of the follow-up query to cover different phrasings or variations. Composing a Response for Follow-Up Queries
Once the follow-up queries are added:
Click on the + button that appears alongside the follow-up query. This will open an empty response that you can compose the according to the query. You can build the response manually, use templates, or generate it using AI to save time.
