Templates in Thesys are precomposed responses or blocks designed to streamline the process of composing agent responses.
What are Templates?
Templates serve as ready-to-use building blocks for:
Responses: Predefined sets of content designed for specific use cases. Blocks: Specific elements like buttons, carousels, or other reusable design components. How to Add a Template
Start with the Zero State: Begin with a blank response. Access the Template Gallery: Click on the Pick a Template button. This will open the template gallery. Browse or Search: Browse through the available templates. Select Your Template: Choose the template you want to use, and it will be added. How to Swap a Template
Select the Response: Click on the response you wish to modify. Open the Template Gallery: Locate the icon button on the top-right of the editing panel and click it. Choose a New Template: Select the template you want to use from the gallery. The existing content will be replaced with the new template.
Working with Blocks
Templates can also be applied to individual blocks within a response:
Add a Block: Insert a block (e.g., a button or carousel) into your response. Replace with a Template: Click on the template button in the top-right corner and select the block. Apply Changes: The block will be updated with the selected template's design and content.
