Overview
The purpose of this policy is to establish guidelines for the use of wireless communication devices within our organization. This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and vendors who use wireless communication devices while conducting business on behalf of the company.
a. All wireless communication devices must be used in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.
b. Employees are prohibited from using wireless communication devices while driving, except in emergency situations.
c. Employees are prohibited from using wireless communication devices to access or transmit confidential company information over unsecured networks.
a. All wireless communication devices must be password protected.
b. Employees are responsible for reporting lost or stolen wireless communication devices to the IT department immediately.
c. IT department will provide regular software updates and security patches to all wireless communication devices.
a. Employees are responsible for monitoring their data usage to ensure they do not exceed their allocated data plan.
b. Employees are prohibited from using company wireless communication devices for personal use.
a. Any violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
b. Any questions or concerns regarding this policy should be directed to the IT department.
