Policy:
All company data must be backed up regularly to an offsite location or cloud storage. Backups must be performed at least once a week, and critical data should be backed up daily. Backups must be encrypted and stored securely to prevent unauthorized access. All backup procedures must be documented and reviewed regularly to ensure they are up to date. Backup and restore procedures must be tested regularly to ensure they are working correctly. All employees must be trained on backup procedures and understand their roles in the event of data loss. The IT department is responsible for monitoring backup status and resolving any issues that arise. Enforcement
Any employee found to have violated this policy may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
