Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy outlines the acceptable use of technology resources provided by the company. These resources include but are not limited to computers, email, internet access, and software.

Authorized Use

Technology resources provided by the company should only be used for authorized purposes such as conducting company business and completing job-related tasks.

Prohibited Use

The following are prohibited uses of company technology resources:
Using company resources for personal or non-work-related activities.
Accessing inappropriate or offensive material via the internet.
Downloading or installing software without prior approval from IT.
Sharing confidential company information or intellectual property.
Engaging in any activity that violates local, state, or federal laws or regulations.
Security
All employees are responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of company technology resources. This includes but is not limited to:
Keeping passwords confidential and changing them regularly.
Reporting any suspicious activity or security breaches to IT immediately.
Using antivirus software and keeping it up to date.
Consequences

Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment. The company reserves the right to monitor technology resources to ensure compliance with this policy.

By using company technology resources, employees agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy.
