What is RMRK—a company, program, or currency?

RMRK is all of those things. Here is how it works:

RMRK is the protocol that enables decentralized apps (dApps like Singular and Kanaria) to be built. Other builders are free to use the RMRK protocol to build anything they want.
The company is also called RMRK.
$RMRK is the token/currency.
Most times when we talk about RMRK, we are talking about the protocol that powers everything.
You don’t need $RMRK to interact with the RMRK protocol. However, there are some services in the RMRK ecosystem (Singular and Kanria) that are only possible with $RMRK.
