Living room/office

Last edited 43 seconds ago by Keerthik O.
The tatami area can be used to spread the drying rack (most direct sunlight in the house). Otherwise we normally expand half the dining table with two fold-out chairs when having meals. You can expand it fully when you have guests over!

Office

You can use any of the office desks in our “living room”!
📶 Wifi network/password info is on the sticky note on the router. No caps/spaces/numbers.
Both black desks are sit-stand, and the drafting chair can be adjusted accordingly.

Air conditioning (summer)

You probably don’t need to change the temperature (should be set to ~68). I like to just toggle between “energy saver” (most of the day) and “cool” (when I’m particularly warm). It’s an 8K BTU which is overspec’d for this tiny apartment, so it cools pretty quickly.

Extra lighting

There’s a WiFi plug connected to big white LED array with a power-button which can be manually pressed to turn them on/off above Tobi’s water fountain (the button will light up blue when on).

Find the switch on the wifi plug. Push to turn on/off
The switch may be towards the wall

Work desk 1 (big curved monitor)

You can simply connect via the USB-C cable to use this monitor.
Please do not raise the height of this desk above 102” on the table’s display, any higher would strain the cables to the power strip connected to the wall.

Work desk 2 (3 monitor)

The left- and right-most monitors have USB-C cables you can use. As always, the HDMI cable is an option too.
There is a Yamaha soundbar installed under the desk, with its remote on the desk. You can bluetooth pair to this using the remote if you wish.
Please do not raise the height of this desk above 102” on the table’s display, any higher would strain the cables to peripherals connected to the desktop PC below.
The center monitor does not support USB-C and is connected to my PC, so don’t expect it to work. Refrain from powering on, trying to use or disconnecting peripherals (besides monitors) from the desktop PC’s in the house.
