What’s new in Lumanu Ad Access 2.0?

Lumanu first introduced our game-changing whitelisting solution - “Ad Access” - back in 2018. Since then, over 400 advertisers process $500M/year in ad spend using creator handles and creator engaged & lookalike audiences. In Q1 2023, we’re excited to announce the release of Lumanu Ad Access 2.0, which retains many of the best features of Lumanu Ad Access 1.0 while also giving advertisers even better CPAs while improving the creator experience of granting account access.

💚 What’s staying the same in Ad Access 2.0

Advertisers can use their existing Lumanu Custom Signup Page to gain ad access at scale.
Advertisers can still create dark posts and use engaged/lookalike audiences in their Ad Accounts.
Advertisers can still track all ad access statuses in one central dashboard. ​

⭐️ What’s NEW in Ad Access 2.0

Creators no longer need a Facebook Page or Business Manager to grant ad access.
Advertisers can see if a creator is ineligible for ad access in the Lumanu dashboard, which is an indication that the creator has been flagged for bad content and/or have fake followers.
Advertisers can now put ad spend behind existing posts, as long as the creator has tagged the advertiser in the organic post using the “in paid partnership with” label
Whitelisted ads now say “with...” instead of “in paid partnership with...”, which makes the ad feel more authentic than the native Meta branded content tool.
CPAs are better with whitelisted ads created via Ad Access 2.0, as indicated by a controlled-lift study ran by Lumanu and Meta across 300 ecommerce brands.

Lumanu Ad Access 2.0 uses the new Meta Branded Content Ads API, which is a culmination of a year of collaboration between Lumanu and Meta to perfect whitelisting performance for advertisers while also streamlining the experience for creators.

What are Branded Content Ads?

Branded Content is produced by a publisher or creator for payment by a business partner, where the partner influences the content or is featured in it. Branded Content has a “in paid partnership with...” tag on the published post.
Branded Content Ads are dark posts created in an advertiser’s Meta Ad Account that leverages the permissions granted by a creator via Lumanu Ad Access 2.0. Branded Content Ads has a “with...” tag along with the usual “sponsored” label that all ads have.

How to get started with Lumanu Ad Access 2.0

If you’re already a Lumanu advertiser, getting started with Ad Access 2.0 just takes one click! Go into your Lumanu Account > Settings, and then authenticate your Advertiser Instagram Account with Lumanu. You’ll need to have Admin access to the Instagram account to proceed.
