Why Codathon?
With a fully distributed team of folks and offices that can only hold half of us at one time - we gather all Codans together once a year to connect with one another, build trust & have fun.
What is it?
A conference-like gathering of Codan employees! We take over a venue to meet one another in-person, socialize, align on our strategic goals, bond with our functional and cross-functional teams, and generally enjoy each other’s company.
This event will focus on in-person attendance and interaction. We know that means not everyone will be able to make the trip, and we’ll really miss you. We will do our best to ensure content will be recorded and/or streamed.
When is it?
The in San Antonio, Texas. We chose this location in the middle-ish of the U.S. so that everyone get the experience of being outside of their routine and (most folks) are somewhere new. Mutual inconvenience! Let’s experience the wonders of San Antonio and the Riverwalk together!
What will we be doing?
More detailed schedule to come, here’s the high-level glance at what will be happening. Our goal is to ensure you walk away feeling even more connected to your fellow Codans than before!

Do I get a plus 1?
Given the business and company team-building focus of this event, we are not including plus 1s.
I’m going to be flying in from a different location than I am flying out to. Is that okay?
Yes, that’s okay.
Is it ok to book my flight into San Antonio to either arrive early or leave late, so that I can explore the city outside of Codathon?
Yes, that’s ok. Please be mindful of booking comparable flights to those you would take on the designated travel days. Coda will provide lodging for the days of Codathon. If you’re interested in staying in the same hotel outside of those dates, our room rate can be secured for you for the three days before and after the event (pending availability).
