Important Main Notes

Use Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + V to Paste without Formatting (You usually should do this otherwise formatting in the docs gets messed up)?

Make sure you use unique passwords for all sites and keep all your passwords in 1Password?See the for more info?

Always use service email accounts like social@cohere.network (which are groups/distro-lists) so company accounts aren’t tied to individual email addresses or phone numbers.

Sharing Links to Docs

We should always create shortcut URLs using a service like using bit.ly for anything that we send out so that we can track the open and share rate and control where it redirects to, so we can easily update the content without breaking the links.

Contacts & Sharing

It’s really important that we be able to share our contacts as an org so we aren’t constantly having to ask each other to share someones contact info. (Free-Flow-of-Info Philosophy)

Delegated Access

This is the only way to really share contacts via Google’s built in functionality. All the other ways require paid plugins/services.?

A whole suite of Google Workspace helper features but the most helpful is the Google Contacts Sharing.

Google Drive

?For Versioning reasons we don't want to attach files, and instead we should share the link to the file in GDrive. This should save us from some issues when changes are made to the files.

For Regular Docs and Sheets we can just copy and paste the URL but for other files like PDFs we have to use the "Share" button.
