You and your partner will, of course, be the stars of your wedding. However, you’ll need a few other key players to make sure your wedding day comes together just as you dreamed it.
Your venue team
Our event experts are here for all your needs. It takes a dedicated team to bring your dream wedding to life, and we’re ready to make it happen.
Your planning team
We’re your planning support system. From choosing a package and making décor decisions to navigating your menu or customizing a floor plan, we’re excited to guide you through every detail.
Your day of team
AKA your wedding day wonders. Your coordinator runs rehearsal, lays out favors, collaborates with vendors, and coordinates the guests and wedding party. After the ceremony, your banquet captain steps in to handle your food and drink requirements while directing the venue team throughout the reception.
Culinary crew and team
The reception heroes. Your chefs, bartenders, servers, bussers, and kitchen porters make up this team. They obsess over (and are responsible for) every element of your reception to make sure it’s one to remember.
Your people
Every wedding squad looks different, but here are the standard players we’ve seen in the past.
Wedding party
Make things personal. The wedding party is a group of your nearest and dearest who will participate however you want. This could mean walking down the aisle and standing next to you during the ceremony or simply making speeches at the reception. You can get creative here and even opt out of having a wedding party. It’s your wedding day, so do what feels right for you.
Witness(es)
Let’s make it official. Signing your marriage license typically happens right after your ceremony and before cocktail hour. Depending on your county, you’ll want to pick one or two witnesses to sign your marriage license alongside you and your partner.
Wedding planning helpers
Lean on others—they’ll be happy to help. From making the big decisions to hearing you out when things get tricky, these helpers will be there every step of the way.
Outside planner or coordinator
Not a requirement, just something we’ve seen some couples appreciate. The outside wedding planner can work alongside our team so that all the heavy lifting is covered.
Ask for help
In addition to your friends and family who help with the planning process, you’ll want a few others to handle some small tasks at the event.
Main point of contact
This is your trusted confidant. They should be someone who knows everything about your décor and can make decisions for you. A maid of honor, bridesmaid, groomsman, mother of the bride, or groom are all great in this role.
Gather your personal belongings
The name says it all—this person is responsible for getting your things from the getting-ready space to your getaway car. We recommend your most reliable bridesmaid or groomsman!
Gather your décor
Leave no gifts or personal items behind. At the end of the event, you’ll need a friend or family member to collect sentimental things like a cake knife, toasting flutes, guestbook, bouquet, etc.
