User Story:

As a customer, I want the provision to opt for Booking protection, Travel Insurance or Baggage Insurance so that I can mitigate the risks and make my travel secured.

As a customer, I want to utilize my Akbar Travel Wallet, so that based on the available balance on my wallet the fare price of the booking is reduced as I continue with the booking.

As a customer, I want the ability to add promocodes so that the applicable discounts and benefit is shown based on the promocode towards the booking amount.

As a customer, I want to review the selected information of flight, so that I can continue with the booking further to add passenger details.

As a customer, I want to view all the important information related to the destination regarding visa, visit guidelines, vaccination requirements or any mandatory information from the airline/country.

Launched From: This page will be launched when user will tap search flight on flight search page and click Book/View fare button on the Availability page (upon flight selection).

Fare/Baggage Rules

Upon clicking the arrow icon, user will be able to check the Fare Rules on the next screen in a Scale, tabular or HTML format (based on the API response) along with the disclaimer associated based on Airline selected

Benefits of the product need to be displayed along with terms and conditions, so that customer is attracted to buy it. If protection is selected yes, then Premium amount of the protection is added in final booking amount. Travel Insurance

If user selects this insurance, user will mitigate the Travels time miss-happenings or Individual’s Health related, etc. risks.

Rules and Validations:

No default selection for India. If a user ignores and tries to click on Continue button to proceed to the next page, it should notify the user to switch on and opt for protection to Secure the Journey. For Gulf, default selection will be Yes

Baggage Insurance

Provision of option to opt for baggage Insurance is not live as of now on the current application.

If user selects this insurance, user will mitigate the risk of baggage lost, baggage destroyed, etc.

If user selects (i) button the fare breakup will open which includes:

Base fare(per pax)

Taxes & fees

Refundable amount(if selected)

Insurance premium

Akbar Wallet discount,

Instant Discount,

Coupon Discount or Cashback Discount (if a promocode is applied)

Rule:

All the Fare rates will be shown as per the currency/country selected.

Full Amount and Partial Amount will be redeemable based on response.

User will see the expiry date so that the urgency is created to use the amount. there is no add money option in the wallet only cashback will be reflected.

Rules:

It is by default enabled Also shown on Fare breakup (when ‘i’ button is clicked)

Cashback received in specific currency and country will not be reflected if user has selected another country and currency.

Acceptance Criteria:

Given I am a customer, When I opt for one or more insurances on my booking, then the system must ensure that with addition of each insurances my booking amount increases.

Given I am a customer, When I want to utilize the balance available in my Akbar Travels Wallet then the system must ensure that the equivalent of available balance is deducted from the available amount in case balance is not available, then the booking amount remains the same.

Given I am a customer, When I select a promocode, Then the system must ensure that I am able to view the discounted price in fare breakup against the applicable promocode.

Given I am a customer, when I review the booking details then the system must ensure that on clicking continue I navigate to add travelers page to add passenger details.
