Creating a New Customer

Select “Customers” from the left navigation
Select “Add Customer” in the top right hand corner
Fill out all of the information from the customer (name, address, email, etc.)
Leave the “Tax Exemptions” box checked unless you’re certain that a customer’s account is tax exempt.
In the “Tags” section make sure that you include the following if appropriate to do so

Once completed, click “Save” at the top of the page
Select “More Actions” in the top right hand corner and then “View/Edit in Customer Fields” from the drop down
Select “Edit” and fill out all of the information for the customer (pet name, vet name, vet hospital, etc.)
Select “Save” at the bottom of the window and close your tab to return to the Shopify admin portal
