Mark 1 Approach

1. This is a rare place where you can slow down when winning, immediately attack the 2, it is ok if they also hook the 3 or 4 because the other can pass you, creating a 1,2,4.
3. Assume the 2 is going to attack and set a mark trap, aim for the top of the 3 boat length zone around the mark, it is ok to let the 2 attack and hook you.
4. Sail fast, go the opposite direct around the 2 than the 3 so you do not get double hooked.

4. Sail fast with distance from the 3, with the 1 mark trapping one of you should pass the 2.

1. Set up in the top right quadrant of the mark to set a mark trap on the 2.
3. Aggressively push the 2 into the 1s mark trap, if you get hooked, the 4 can move into the 2.
4. Sail wide from the 2 and 3, looking for opportunities to pass the 2.

4. Go the opposite direction of the 3, sail fast in an attempt to pass the 2.

1. Set up in the bottom left quadrant of the zone, force the 2 to choose a side.
3. Keep pushing low to force the 2 into the trap/pass back of the 1, remember to adjust your angle for the apparent wind shift.
4. Sail to the opposite side of the 3, reducing chances of a double mark trap by the 2.

4. Sail fast, go to the opposite side of the course as the 3, keep at least 1 ace.
