Mark 3 Approach

4. Set up in the bottom left quadrant of the zone to set up mark trap for the 5,6. Stay bow ahead to prevent losing the 5. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________

5. Keep bow down below the mark trap to keep you speed up in anticipation for the wind shadow of the mark trap.

2nd Beat
Exiting 4
1. Tack as soon as the 3 begins to round. you will tack back when they get to the edge of your zone. You will be covering the left.
2. Sail fast, you will be covering the right.
4. Stay bow ahead, cover the most advantaged boat. You only need to keep one Ace as insurance on the last leg. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________
3. Prioritize the rounding, if the 1 has not tacked yet, tack immediately to attempt to get bow out leading to the left. If the 1 has already tacked by the time you round, wait until you sail out of the zone of the 1 with a healthy lane to tack. If the 1 begins to tack back before that happens match the tack and stay on the opposite tack of the 1.
5. Sail fast, if locked below the 4, bow down and attempt to get bow out on the 4. If clear behind, tack out and attempt to get bow out on the 4. Get out to an edge quickly.
6. Sail fast in the opposite direction of the 5. Get to that edge quickly.
Open Field
1. Keep in touch with teammate and the 3. Lead to the left, loose cover to the right. Sail fast.
2. Keep in touch with teammate and the 3. Lead to the right, loose cover to the left. Sail fast.
