It’s important that you begin to think about critical numbers in a concrete and practical way. Create a short list of numbers that correspond to either the P&L statement, the balance sheet, or part of the company flywheel.
The list doesn’t need to be comprehensive, just the first five that pop into your head. Beside that number, write the person or position that is responsible for that number.
