An Introduction to the Vritti model

Blue Personalities > The Ones Who Orientate Towards the Positive

image.png
They are spontaneous, energetic, and full of life, always alert to new opportunities and eager to explore anything fresh or exciting. Their enthusiasm and curiosity make them a source of inspiration and ideas for those around them. They excel at connecting diverse interests and turning possibilities into action, bringing creativity and adaptability to any situation.
However, their restlessness and drive for novelty can sometimes work against them. In their quest to avoid discomfort, they may lose focus, becoming scattered or hyperactive, chasing new experiences without fully engaging in or completing what they’ve started. This constant pursuit of excitement can dissipate their energy and leave them feeling unfulfilled, despite their busy lives.
When balanced, Blue Personalities understand that true satisfaction comes from staying grounded and embracing life’s limitations. They learn to channel their energy into meaningful pursuits, creating a deeper sense of connection and fulfillment in their adventures.

Path to Balance > Blue

Intention: I intend to be free and enjoy the enriching experiences that life has to offer.
Focus: I focus on what is satisfying and what are the new possibilities.
Traps: I often jump to conclusions, guessing what others are saying without fully listening, and quickly moving on to new ideas or distractions. While I accumulate a lot of knowledge, I may not always take the time to deeply process or assimilate it, leaving my understanding incomplete. When faced with my own mistakes or limitations, I may avoid accountability by deflecting or adopting a dismissive or demeaning attitude, preferring to focus on the next exciting thing rather than confront uncomfortable truths.
Development Tracks: I recognize that true happiness isn’t found in constant activity or new experiences but is available in the here and now. The key to this realization is developing the willingness and ability to embrace stillness, to feel calm within, and to open myself fully to the beauty of life as it is. As I slow down and stay present, I can assimilate my experiences more deeply, discovering that each moment holds something to be grateful for. With this inner serenity, I begin to feel a quiet, lasting joy—one not driven by external stimulation, but inspired by the simple, profound satisfaction of just being.
