Method of Securing Investment

A deed of trust and memorandum of option will be recorded on the property's title. This deed indicates the existence of the investment and specifies various other conditions such a prohibition against adding additional debt and references the existence of the Equity Sharing Option Agreement. This is one of the methods we have to ensure the investor will be paid its proceeds from a sale, and that no other lender or investor can come before it in payback priority.
