Local Events

🎉 Ho‘ohana Whoo – Local Event Services

🎯 Objective

To collaborate with and enhance local events across Austin and beyond by offering transportation, pop-up retail, street marketing, safety teams, and delivery services—while holding space for community, creativity, and celebration.

🧩 Problems Addressed

🚗 Events often lack accessible and fun last-mile transportation
📢 Local events struggle to promote themselves street-side without major budgets
🛍️ Vendors and artists need intentional, mobile ways to reach attendees
🌙 Nightlife events can become unsafe without community-rooted support
🌱 Locals want experiences that feel authentic, connected, and human—not just transactional

💡 Solutions

Offer pedicab ride services during events, transporting attendees between parking, bars, venues, or vendor markets
Set up Ho‘ohana Whoo pop-up booths or trikes to sell handmade goods, festival kits, and branded merch
Deploy a Roaming Foot Team to promote the event, distribute flyers, and engage the public
Provide Guardian Angel late-night escorts to ensure guests get home safely
Use delivery services (pedicab or car) to bring items from vendors to attendees or VIP sections
