A = Acknowledgment of current truth C = Communication with clarity F = Formal offboarding support G = Graceful Growth (with or beyond Ho‘ohana Whoo) Exit Steps:
Exit Request or Initiation (self-led or leadership-led) Clarity Conversation – 1:1 session to explore reasoning and offer growth map review Exit Agreement – Including optional severance or mutual service exchange Exit Ritual / Team Send-Off (optional but encouraged) Resource List Provided – Local support, referrals, other role suggestions 💸 Severance Policy
Severance is available based on time served, role type, and reason for exit.
Severance requests may include in-kind support (mechanic work, delivery help, housing referral, etc.) in place of cash if needed.
🔐 Exit Rights & Protections
No retaliation – Whether someone exits gracefully or abruptly, they are protected from gossip, financial holdbacks, or exclusion. Confidential feedback welcome at all times.
