🧠 Numerator: What Helps You Understand What You Need

B = Biochemical Profile Your unique internal makeup (hormones, nervous system, gut health, inflammation, sensitivity, menstrual cycle, neurotype, etc.)
Can be tracked through journaling, labs, cycle syncing, symptoms, cravings.
E = Emotional State How your feelings affect your food, rest, and care.
Are you anxious, numb, overthinking, exhausted, disconnected, avoidant?
Cr = Cravings (Physical + Energetic) Not just food, but what you're “hungry” for.
Salty = grounding / Sweet = soothing / Crunchy = tension relief / Stimulation = dopamine. People, silence, stimulation, movement = energetic craving.
A = Awareness Your willingness to observe and decode your body without judgment.
“I noticed I crash after sugar.” / “I need quiet after social events.”
R = Ritual A consistent, sacred pattern that helps regulate and reflect.
Tea every night. Morning grounding. Weekly body check-in.

🪨 Denominator: What Distorts or Delays Your Needs

S = Stress Load Ongoing emotional, chemical, physical, or energetic stress.
Work, trauma residue, inflammation, relationship tension.
X = External Influence Trends, ads, influencers, family patterns.
“Keto is best.” / “You shouldn’t eat carbs.” / “You’re lazy if you nap.” The beliefs we carry from others that override intuition.
Cc = Coping Compensation Habits that mask real needs (ex: binge eating, caffeine as energy, screen scrolling, overcommitting).
What we use to survive becomes what hides what we actually need.

N = True Need

The sum total = your real need at this moment, based on your:
Body's chemistry
Emotional frequency
Unmet cravings
Awareness
Ritual rhythm ... minus distortion from stress, noise, and compensation.

🔮 How to Apply It Practically

Use this question stack based on the formula:
Biochemistry: What symptoms am I ignoring or misunderstanding (bloating, fatigue, fog)?
Emotion: What emotional pattern is currently affecting my body?
Cravings: What am I reaching for most, and why?
Awareness: What do I know deep down, that I’ve been overriding?
Ritual: What tiny consistent action soothes me most?
Stress: What current or chronic stress is distorting my clarity?
External Influence: What trend or belief am I mimicking that may not be mine?
Coping Compensation: What habits have been protecting me that I now need to evolve?
