Fats
nutrients pass through the intestinal cells into blood (cappillaries, stopping first at the liver
carbs- amylase→ sugars
proteins- pepsin, trypsin, peptidase → amino acids
fats- lipase → fatty acids, monoglycerides
fats break down
glucose is transported into the blood using facilitated diffusion
20 different amino acids from protein breaking down
they all use specific transporters to infuse into blood
fat is covered with bile salt so the fat doesnt stick together: lipase breaks them down further
they enter into our lymphatic system, rather than directly into blood
it does go into the blood near the heart, redispersing.
