Rippey is working with clients that need a more robust way to manage their workflow. These clients have many branch offices and different organizational hierarchies, which our current dashboard is unable to support. Rippey’s internal operations team has similar challenges. They are not able to leverage one login to access multiple accounts. A master spreadsheet of various passwords are continuously floated around, causing massive security risks internally and externally.
Hence, the Rippey 5.0 has been introduced which supports Unified Login and Branch Management. This documentation provides a user guide to how to navigate through the dashboard for Rippey Users.
Before getting started with the guide, let’s learn about a few sections of the interface which will be mostly present across various pages throughout the application.
Navigation
Navigation highlighted in the Dashboard
We have a navigation bar present in each and every screen. The navigation itself is also divided into two parts: Primary and Secondary.
Primary Navigation: The Primary Navigation consists of Rippey logo, 5 tabs, a Dashboard Switching Dropdown and User Menu. All of them are described throughout this document in detail.
Secondary Navigation: The secondary navigation changes based on the page a user is. This navigation bar consists of a text on the left, tabs in the centre and time zones(UTC and Users Local Time) on the right.
Secondary Navigation
Breadcrumb
Breadcrumbs
This section will show user the route of how the pages are connected. For example: If a user goes to a processing page of Client A who is a Document Automation client . Then the breadcrumb will show Documents > Processing > Client A.
Note: Breadcrumb will be absent for Overview and Processing Page in order to save vertical space.
Pagination
Pagination
The Pagination is present in almost all pages. In this new dashboard, users will also be allowed to enter any page they want to visit directly by entering the page number in the Go To input box. Similarly, they can also choose the number of items they want to view per page through the Items per page dropdown. The maximum limit to items per page will be 50 and minimum limit will be 10.
