All the wines under the Terre du Sol label come from sun-splashed vineyards tended by small growers, small family farmers producing declassified wine made from grapes grown on their own lands. This Malbec is from Fabrice Durou’s hilly vineyards in Cahors. It is a clean and pure expression of the hills of southern France. Relatively light-bodied but darkly fruited, with bright acidity, it is a true vindication of the Malbec grape.
