The third step of a Modern Strategic Planning is to execute the planned innovation. In an Agile Framework, this means to generate learning, as quickly as possible, to pivot or persevere as necessary. Not all Epics and Enablers included in the KanBan Funnel will pass through onto an Operational Value Stream. Many will be dropped, or discarded on the way, and that is OK.
The Star in this process is the Epic or Enabler Owner. Some of this work will be solo tasks done by them. For implementation stage, Epic and Enabler Owners will supervise breakout teams or completely different teams. The image below shows the whole process. This processes have ideally a quarterly cadence, paired with the OKR's review processes.
